Hooping in Hawaii on the islands of Oahu and Maui has been truly inspirational. Incorporating the elements of traditional Hula Dance with story and elegant had gestures has been an awesome journey to perform this sacred dance in the heart of the motherland. Trained in physical theatre, modern dance and creative movement, Anna McHugh has found the hula-hoop to be an incredible tool for performance, movement, bodywork, and exercise. Hooping is an amazing mirror that reveals through movement where a person is blocked, either energetically or physically and a powerful tool that unlocks energy increases circulation and muscle articulation.
